Mars National Bank Supports Arts Education
Friday, December 05, 2008

Mars National Bank conducted its Fifth Annual Holiday Card Contest.  Mars National Bank, taking pride in the community, invited children Kindergarten through Fourth grade from Seneca Valley, Mars, Knoch, Deer Lakes, Hampton and Pine-Richland to participate in the contest, by creating a drawing or painting of their favorite holiday scene.

This year, Paul Grewar, eight years old and a student at Evans City Elementary School is the first-place winner.  His design will be used as the 2008 Mars National Bank Holiday Card.   Paul received a $200 United States Savings Bond for his achievement.  In addition, Evans City Elementary School was awarded $500 for their art education department.

Two other students, Daniel Lee of Mars Elementary and Adam Szwaczkowski from Evans City Elementary, tied for second-place and each received a $150 United States Savings Bond for their efforts.

Mars National Bank is excited to provide this opportunity for students of the local schools and to bring the community together.  Mars National Bank is a full service bank with six banking locations.
