In The Community
As a community bank, Mars National Bank is committed to impacting our communities not only with our banking products and services, but with our hard work, volunteerism and encouraging spirits. That’s why we’re involved as an organization, and our staff as individuals, in so many civic, religious, and community organizations and efforts.
On June 5, Bank staff and family served one home owner in a rehab project through Hosanna Industries. Hosanna helps low income homeowners by providing home repair and rehabilitation services at no cost to the owner. The Bank supports Hosanna’s mission through its giving, communicating its mission and through Bank staff who annually lend a hand to a Hosanna work project.
This year, Bank employees provided what Hosanna projected to be $15,000 worth of siding and repair work to a local home. About a dozen volunteers associated with the Bank including staff and their family members took part.
Day of Caring
Mars National Bank was pleased to help on the United Way’s Week of Caring. Ten volunteers spent a day painting apartments owned by the Lighthouse Foundation. The agency offers apartments to single mothers in our area for transitional housing. The occupants are able to live rent-free for up to 18 months. The Bank team painted one full apartment (two floors), the upstairs of a second apartment and a kitchen of a third apartment.
Mars National Bank is a community bank, and we live and work in our community. Here is a partial list of organizations and entities that we support through donations and volunteering our time and effort.
