Mars National Bank is in the business of helping property owners by providing banking services, but on June 5, they served one home owner in a rehab project through Hosanna Industries. Hosanna helps low income homeowners by providing home repair and rehabilitation services at no cost to the owner. The Bank supports Hosanna’s mission through its giving, communicating its mission and through Bank staff who annually lend a hand to a Hosanna work project.
This year, Bank employees provided what Hosanna projected to be $15,000 worth of siding and repair work to a local home. About a dozen volunteers associated with the Bank including staff and their family members took part.
“We love partnering with Hosanna Industries because their work directly impacts the lives of the people of our community,” said Jim Dionise, Mars National Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. “It’s great to help financially, but also to get out and work on a project.”
Hosanna Industries’ mission includes new construction and repair/rehabilitation services for low income homeowners; leading volunteers in disaster recovery; and training young people in the trade skills to give them a hope for the future. For more information, visit www.HosannaIndustries.org.
