Assurance Link is the overdraft protection program that ties your Mars National Bank Statement Savings to your Mars National Bank checking account.
With Assurance Link added to your account, you can protect yourself if the balance in your Mars National Bank checking account is exceeded. Assurance Link will automatically draw from your Statement Savings to cover the amount of the overdraft.

If Assurance Link is activated on your account, you will be sent a notice in the mail that details the overdraft and any applicable fees so that you may record it. There is a fee of $2.00 for every automatic transfer that occurs. The fee will be drawn on your checking account at the end of your statement cycle. Overdrafts that exceed the available balance in your Statement Savings will not be processed or paid.

1 Participation in Assurance Link requires a Mars National Bank checking account. Assurance Link cannot be used with checking accounts maintained with other financial institutions.
2 Customers must be in good standing with Mars National Bank to be eligible to participate in Assurance Link. Mars National Bank reserves the right to discontinue the program at any time.
