Assurance Plus is the overdraft protection program that links your Mars National Bank Line of Credit to your Mars National Bank Personal Checking Account.
With Assurance Plus added to your account, overdrafts can be cleared for payment if the balance in your Mars National Bank checking account is exceeded provided the available balance on your Line of Credit is sufficient.1 Assurance Plus will automatically draw from your Line of Credit to cover the amount of the check.

When you add Assurance Plus to your Mars National Bank Personal Checking, Regular Checking, Orbit Checking or N.O.W. Account, a wide variety of transactions are covered, including:
If Assurance Plus is activated on your account, you will be sent a notice in the mail that details the overdraft and any applicable fees so that you may record it.
There is a fee of $5.00 for every automatic transfer that occurs.The fee will be drawn on your checking account at the end of your statement cycle. Overdrafts that exceed the available balance on your Line of Credit will be not be processed or paid.
