Statement Savings Account
Our Statement Savings Account provides a basic savings plan with added flexibility. Enjoy the convenience of unlimited ATM activity. Access your account through Mars Bank Online and Service Plus 24-hour Touch-Tone Telephone Banking. You may make unlimited transfers into your account and up to six electronic transfers out of your account per statement cycle.
Insured Money Market Account:
A savings account where you can invest your idle funds but have convenient access to them in person, by phone, by ATM or even by check. Interest Rates are based on market rates with successively higher rates paid on higher balances maintained in the account. Interest is compounded and credited monthly. A minimum balance is required to avoid a monthly service charge.
Passbook Savings Account:
This account is for customers age 16 and under just getting started that do not require access to their funds electronically or by check. With no minimum balance requirements, the passbook savings account is a great way to begin or maintain a savings program. Interest is earned from the day of deposit to the day of withdrawal. When presenting your passbook, you may make unlimited withdrawals and deposits without fees.
Time Certificates of Deposit:
For the investor who requires less frequent access to their funds than from a savings account. Time Certificate of Deposits are available in terms ranging from one month to five years. Interest earned on CD's can be compounded or paid to you at regular intervals via check or direct deposit to your checking or savings account.
Holiday Club:
An ideal way to save for holiday expenses little by little over the period of one year. When paid to maturity, Holiday Club Accounts earn simple interest. No charges are assessed for club accounts. All clubs mature the final week of October and checks are automatically mailed at that time. For your added convenience, your holiday club payments can be automatically withdrawn from your Mars National Bank checking account.
